Avatar de... avassalador?

Já fui ver o filme do momento. Fui desconfiado e de pé-atrás porque os títulos muito badalados, que saem dos lados dos states, muitas vezes desiludem. Ainda por cima falava-se muito dos seus efeitos especiais.... hum, caso mesmo para desconfiar.

No entanto... grande filme, o Avatar! Uma experiência sensorial única através da qual decorre uma história simples, sim, mas muito bem contada. E depois a mensagem é belíssima e fundamental nos tempos de hoje (e à qual sou especialmente sensível): a importância da conexão com o mundo natural.

Avatar é um filme poderoso, deslumbrante e visualmente revolucionário!

Frenético

Hoje, ao ouvir na rádio o belíssimo tema Libertango, da máscula Grace Jones, relembrei um dos filmes de suspense quanto a mim mais bem conseguidos dos últimos anos: Frenético (Frantic, na versão original). A Realização é de Polanski e a interpretação coube a Harrison Ford e à belíssima Emmanuelle Seigner,

O enredo parece roubado de um filme de Alfred Hitchcock. Um pacato médico norte-americano (Harrison Ford), visitando Paris e sem saber uma única palavra de francês, precisa lidar com o misterioso desaparecimento da mulher, logo depois de darem entrada no hotel de luxo onde ficariam hospedados para um congresso internacional. A polícia e Embaixada dos EUA no país não lhe dão muita atenção e ele vê-se sózinho na desesperada tentativa de a encontrar.

É um filme elegante, bem interpretado, bem filmado (o charme das ruas de Paris e a luz meio difusa, como se filtrada através de orvalho, são captados com precisão) e com um óptimo tema musical. Uma boa sugestão para um serão destas férias.

Esta é uma lista curiosa de 90 grandes filmes; grande parte deles consta da mesma com toda a justiça; a ordem, bem como a inclusão e a omissão de alguns filmes é "da responsabilidade do autor (da lista... claro!).

Pareceu-me interessante, no mínimo, pela oportunidade de relembrar alguns grandes títulos.

Salvo uma ou outra excepção, não são, obviamente, os "filmes da minha vida"... e a ordem ainda me parece mais questionável.
